Made coasters....

Yeah, I made some coasters using PTI's coasters, mod podge and pattern paper.

PTI coasters come in a pack of 25 for $1. They are thin to use just one of them for a coaster. I have glued 5 of the PTI coasters to make one table coaster. Then cut Kaisercraft Miss Nelli Collection paper to the coaster size and glued the pattern paper using mod podge. I made sure I wiped out all the bubbles off. Then I coated another layer of mod podge over the  pattern paper and let it dry. To the bottom of the coaster I have attached surface protecters.
Hope you like them :) These are for school fete. I have more of these to make. Will share when I complete them.
Been busy with Eisteddfod. Both Sid and Aditi won many many certificates. Aditi won the outstanding piano player. Sid won first in Jazz. Aditi won first in vocal character solo, duet, popular solo and group vocal. They did very well and are very happy. I am proud but exhausted. Got to go to work tomorrow morning :( Hopefully things will slow down a bit. But now I want to sleep.
Good night!

P.S: forgive me for my typo. I am very exhausted.

PTI Blog Hop

Evening! Its 9.00PM for me in Australia. Today has been a very busy day for me. No breakfast or lunch but able to cook a hearty dinner and ate it too :) I am finally able to sit down and write up my blog hop post. This month's blog hop has another inspirational photo. Here is the photo for you.

For me, what stood out in the photo was the colors, flowers, the design of the suitcase lid and the splash of grey or blue??? Although, I see the jar and the books, I chose to ignore them as I don't have jar or book stamps :( Anyway, I focussed on the colors  and here is my card inspired by the photo.

I have used PTI's cardstocks, stamps, ribbon, button and dies. The pattern paper is from Kaisercraft and so are the flower diecut stickers. The texture plates are from Craft Concepts and finally ink is Crumb Cake from SU.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Hopping!

 Good Night :)

Beware! Lot and lots of photos

Yup, I have lots and lots of photos to show you. Firstly I made a set of cards using Mehindi Medallion and Think Big Favourites #5 from Papertrey Ink.

Loving the simple design and the colors. I used the "teacher" stamp from Teacher's Apple also from Papertrey Ink. It was difficult to take photos because of this guy trying to climb on me! So the cards in my photos are all facing different directions lol! I just have to quickly snap shots or else I will have probably dropped my expensive camera. Here he sits beautifully for photographs like a cute, obedient puppy!

This little guy is 10 weeks today! He is very delightful, lightning fast and very quick learner. We have had him for only two weeks and he has already learned to sit upon command, similarly drop, stay and wait until his food is put in his tray and say you can eat now :) Love love sitting on my feet. Loves licking my  moisturizing cream off my face lol!!! I wonder why we put off getting a dog for so long. Love him :)

Anyway, have a great day!
See ya soon :)

I coloured!!!!!

I rediscovered my copics today! And some other beautiful girl stamps as well! So I decided to color the images. I went looking for some lovely color combination and loved the latest Embellish Color Challenge. Here is the challenge for  you.

And after few hours of coloring, cutting and assembling, here are my cards for the challenge.

The first stamp is Bizzy Becs Lily Stamp. I have had it for couple of years and I love it. Similarly the Tilda Stamp and Little Freida stamp I bought recently from Craft Meows. The sentiment stamp on the first card is from papertrey Ink Damask Design set, on the second and third cards the sentiment is from a complementary stamp set from Craft Meows.  I had to wait for a week before they could post my order and when the order arrived, they had a cute tiny stamp set as a complement along with my order. Thanks so much. Love this sentiment :) The grass die is from Taylored Expression.
I really enjoyed coloring with copics. I should do more of it.
Thanks for the coloring challenge and thanks for stopping by!
See ya soon!

I have been punching...

Yeah! I have been punching a lot of butterflies. Been busy making these punched butterfly frames for the school fete.

I bought these frames from Crazy Clarks because they are beautifully glossy white. I also like the double matt but I still had to take out the glass as I had the butterflies mounted on the foam. Isn't it beautiful? I am on a roll to make these frames. After I took these photo, I had the time to make one more which I will share tomorrow :) I have got a few more ideas in my mind for the school fete. Hopefully I will get them done tomorrow.
I am enjoying a beautiful sunny Saturday today. All my washings are done, dried and folded. Tomorrow is predicted to rain. So getting maximum done today. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Have fun and see you soon :)

Some more banners

I have another quick post today. I mentioned earlier in my previous post last week that I had made couple banners using baby onesie die from Papertrey Ink. Here are the pictures....

I am experimenting with a new camera lens and different background. So bear with me on the photos.  The colors stood out with the black background but could not see the texture. So here is the cloesup and hope you can see the embossed texture on the baby onesie.

Then I wanted to change the background and hence these pictures below. Still not very clear. Mmmm! I have to twik a bit more to get more precise definition of the images and probably mount on a tripod too.

But I like the idea of  making banners using these shaped dies :) Very cute, right?
And I also make some bookmarks

These stamps are from Craft Meows and I colored them using copics, ribbon from SU, stamps and die from Papertrey Ink. All of these are for the school fete.
Hope you like them :) Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!

Framed hearts

Well, like I said in my last post, here is the frame I was talking about.

Do you like it? Its look so much better in real. Could not get a good photo as its been a cloudy dull day! I just love the color combination of white, pink and a splash of green. I have used Su heart shape punch and papers are from papertrey Ink and SU. The flowers from Prima Marketing, the rhinestones from Kaisercraft and the banner die and sentiment from Papertrey Ink. The butterfly punch is from Martha Stewart.
See ya soon with couple of more banners :)

For teachers...

I made a pack of 4  teachers cards. This is one of my set for the upcoming school fete. I am trying to get organised and plan ahead for the fete. So I made a few items over the weekend. a frame deco, some bookmarks and this card set.

I basically used Papertrey Ink's "School Time" stamp set to make this card. I love love the chalkboard effect - the white ink on black cardstock! Just perfect for teachers, I think!  That medal image is Nina Brackett's "Life is a carnival" stamp set. Love the set and I have to make a few more teacher's card set. Hopefully tomorrow!
I wil also share the frame deco I made. Its so pretty. I love it. My camera batteries are down and I have put them for charging. So once they are ready to go, I will take pictures and share. Until then, have a great day!

Introducing Charlie!

Charlie is our new 8 week old Cocker Spaniel puppy. We brought him home yesterday and he has been a good boy. He only woke up thrice at night and cried. But soon settled down. So we all had a good night sleep.
Here are some pictures of Charlie.

Isn't that little pointy tail cute? He is not able to control his tails completely. It just goes all over the place. lol!

His ears are so big that when he bends to drink water from his bowl, his ears get wet lol!

He is quick learner. He has already knows to sit upon command. Love his big floppy ears and how they go up and down when he runs and jumps lol! Trying to potty train him. Its a challenge but he will learn soon.   Its been so much fun and busy since his arrival. Love him :) Hope you like my little fella :) Got to go now. Will have to see how I craft with him around!
See ya soon!
