A set of mini cards.

Hey everybody,

Sharing with you a set of mini cards I made for Moxie Fab World's The Card Set Challenge.

I have used the Girl's Tee die from MFT to make my card set.
Here is the set in its box also made using the same die cut.

And here are the set of five cards.

The stamp sets I used to stamp my images are Rosie Posie Step #2 and Water Colour Wonder from Papertrey Ink, All Squared Up stamp set from Avery Elle Stamps. I decided to stick with three colours - Orange, Blue and Green also with black for sentiments. Love the modern look on the tees.
Here is the box and the tees together.

I am in love with these cute mini tees. Thanks for stopping by!

Another gallery idol card!

This one is for a girl. Flowers are most suited for girls in my opinion. So I went for flowers for a girl's card. The flowers are from Pure Floral-Chrysanthemum from Uniko studio. I had a tag diecut on my craft table for a long time and I wanted to use it. I have used Neon Mr. Huey and watercoloured the tag and the leaves. I stamped the flowers and sentiment with black ink. I particularly love the wooden floorboard background. That pattern paper is from Studio Calico. The neon bright colour pop out against the wooden floor background. There is no girl's card with some bling. So added some sequins.
Here is my card.

Hope you like it:)  Thanks for all of you who have emailed me and left a message on my fb regarding my new blog decor. I have to thank Jackie Rockwell for the awesome design. She is amazing and so easy to work with too:) I will still be tweaking a bit till I feel good. But that won't affect viewing of my blog.

Thanks for visiting!

Live loud and Rock On!

Hello everybody,

Ooo! Big Sigh! After a long time I sat on at(lol! just read my post and laughed! Imagine sitting on my craft table lol!) my craft table and made couple of cards this morning. The same way I used to before I lost my mojo. lol! And I love how my cards turned out too:)

Here is one card I made for Gallery Idol 2013.

I went for a collage style. I used the grid cardstock as the background. Then sponged some stripes using The Crafter's Workshop 12 x 12 mask and Going Gray ink. The stamp sets I have used are LLD Journal It-Playlist and LLD Document it-Rock on from MFT. I have also used  Super Star from Wplus9. I chose Navy, Orange and Green colour combination. The "&" is wood veneer from Studio Calico. The spatter is from using orange neon Mr. Huey from Studio Calico. Love how the card turned out. I cannot wait to show my son in the evening to see if he likes it:)

Super Free Saturday!

Hey everybody,

Today is the last Saturday in the month of May! You are serious? May is already over? I just cannot believe this. Weeks are flying by so quickly for me. Just not what I want. But last Saturday of the month means Super Free Saturday at Uniko Studio.

Uniko Studio is offering free digital papers and stamps collection called Simple Bloom.

It is free! You can download them from Uniko Studio shop and play with them. Here is my card using these gorgeous digital stamps and pattern paper.

I used photoshop elements to mask and layer the flower. Added the sentiment and printed it out on a white cardstock. I then coloured the flowers using watercolour pencils - red, orange red, orange and grey for the flowers and yellow, green and grey for the stems. I then accent the flower cluster with enamel dots. The stripped pattern paper is also from the Simple Bloom collection which is free from Uniko Studio Shop.
Here are couple of closeups of the coloured flowers.

I love the three enamel dots on the sides. Looks like M &Ms:)

If you download and make a project using Simple Blooms, why not upload your project into Uniko Studio's Flickr gallery  HERE .

Here is the link to Simple Blooms at Uniko Studio Shop.

Here is the new CAS(E) this Sketch challenge sketch for this week.

A beautiful sketch by Jackie! And here is my take on the sketch.

I have used AveryElle's Knotty stamps to make my card. Love that gorgeous anchor with the rope. I am also entering this card in AveryElle's monthly challenge.

The Craft's Meow Preview of May Release Day #3

Hello and welcome to day #3 of the The Craft's Meow May New Release Preview!

the craft's meow.

Today we are showcasing another new set called Side By Side.

This set is designed by Karen Baker. another 4 x 6 sized stamp set with cool sentiments using fun fonts. Here is my card using Side By Side Stamp Set.

Since this is a sentiment set, I decided to use pretty pattern papers to my card front. The pattern papers are from Fancy Pant's Park Bench Collection. I have stamped the sentiment from Side By Side Stamp Set on the pattern paper which I glued to the card front. I then complemented the blue colour of the pattern paper with a beautiful floral pattern paper from the same collection. A clean and simple card focusing on the sentiment. Hope you like it:)

Check out The Craft's Meow Blog for more DT inspirations based on this set.
