Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week - Sponging Stencil using Distress Ink

This is my second post. Here is my CASE Study post for you.

Hey everybody,

Welcome back to day #4 of the Winnie & Walter Share the Love week featuring Distress Inks

Today's theme is using stencil/masking technique with distress ink. I have used stencil on my card below.

Happy Birthday card

I wanted a softer look that fades away. So I used The Crafter's Workshop Mini Cosmic Bubbles stencils and sponged Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar distress inks which is faded towards the bottom. I then stamped the sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Happy stamp set on a strip of white cardstock and mounte dusing foam adhesives. Finally accented with some beautiful sparkly gold enamel dots. Absolutely love the softer faded look on the background using stencil and distress inks.

Check out Winnie & Walter Blog for more Talent inspiration. And there is no sharing the love without giveaways. Yes! Yay! You can participate in the challenges or  leave a comment to be eligible for a chance to win the giveaways. For more details, check out Winnie & Walter Blog for more details.

Have fun crafting with distress ink and W&W stamp set.

Such a nice card - I love the way the color is faded towards the bottom. The sparkly gold enamel dots just adds the right amount of bling.
